About Me

Born in Rochester, NY. Finished college at the University of Grenoble in southern France. Moved to Vail when there were less than 100 full time residents. We hiked, fished, camped in what is now Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch plus drank water from the streams!

Sue started her real estate career in 1978 and served twice as president of the Vail board of realtors in 1984 and in 1997.  A Rotarian since 1984, Sue is a Paul Harris fellow, a member of the 5000 club, and was Rotarian of the year.  After owning her own real estate company for 22 years, Sue joined Slifer Smith & Frampton as principal broker for marketing and selling 17 new Manor Vail penthouses, offered from $4 to $22 million. Included in her luxury sales were Village Hall,  Borders Road and Strawberry Park homes in Beaver Creek, Cordillera, Forest Place, Forest Road, Mill Creek Circle, Bridge Street Lodge, Christiania,  Gold Peak Penthouse condos, Willow Circle, Lodge at Vail,  Lodge Tower, and Vail golf course.

Sue was #1 in sales volume in 2012 for Vail out of all real estate companies and #7 in the state of colorado that same year.

“In addition to long time clients, 2nd and 3rd generations are keeping me very busy listing and selling from entry level to luxury real estate level.  Having a history of Vail Valley and always attending continuing education classes, I am able to offer my best expertise and service.”

From her smallest transaction of $225,000 to her largest of $22,000,000, Sue has had the pleasure of helping many buyers and sellers achieve their goals.

“I welcome you to use my knowledge of The Vail Valley, and I will make myself available to you at The Solaris office in Vail, located on the 2nd level above the ice rink.”
